The boiling point of water depends on the air pressure. During the first steam operation, the appliance will automatically set itself to the pressure ratio based on the installation location. Calibration ensures the optimal temperature for boiling water and producing steam in your oven.
Once you have completed the calibration process, you will need to burn off your cooking compartment.
