eastereggmillefeuille

We’ve put a twist on this traditional favourite, and turned it into an Easter inspired treat – perfect for an afternoon tea with friends.

The mille feuille, quite similar to a vanilla slice or custard slice, is a pastry whose exact origin is unknown. Traditionally, a mille feuille is made up of three layers of puff pastry, and two layers of crème pâtissière.

Tips to make your Mille Feuille a success:

Use an egg-shaped cutter to make things easier at the beginning of your Mille Feuille recipe

Allow your pastry to cool before cutting into it

Use a skewer to drag vertical lines through the chocolate to create a feathered effect

Experiment with food dye in your white chocolate to elevate the Easter theme of the dessert
